LANGUAGES

Jobst’s field of activity includes advising and structuring transactions based on the business environment and an understanding of the overall business situation. He focuses on banking and capital market law issues, especially at their interfaces to corporate and tax law. He has extensive experience in many issues in this area, from regulatory issues to capital market and fund business to structured financing.

Before joining OIKON, Jobst worked for a large international law firm, but spent most of his career in various in-house functions in banks. These included activities as a structurer in front-office units with responsibility for results, as well as classic legal department functions, partly in an international banking group, most recently as general counsel of a private bank.

This experience, both in supporting day-to-day and everyday business, as well as in strategic projects and business issues from an entrepreneurial perspective, makes Jobst a holistic and entrepreneurial consultant for financial institutions and those looking for financing. Particular attention is paid to a commercially viable implementation of the increasingly complex regulations. Due to the wide range of his experience, he never loses sight of alternatives and innovative solutions.

Jobst studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and has been admitted to the bar since 2001.
